Players collect cards of various types of train cars they then use to claim railway routes in North America. The longer the routes, the more points they earn.

Why it may be for you:

- Easy to leann and teach.

- Fast gameplay, turns are usually very quick.

- Indirect conflict as you compete to take routes before each other.

- Tension builds as you race to complete your tickets.

- If you like Rummy-like games, this has a similar feel, but with a spatial element.

Why it may not be for you:

- 2-player is OK, but it's best with 3 or more.

- If you prefer games with a grander strategic arc.

- No idea...everyone likes Ticket to Ride.
